Donaven Foo is an incoming practice trainee of RCL Chambers Law Corporation and is presently studying for his Part B Examinations.

Donaven has a keen interest in the development of the law and is a key contributor of our legal publications. 

In school, he participated in competitions such as the NUS Forensic Science Expert Advocacy Cup 2022 (Champion Team) and Advocacy Cup 2022 (Semi-Finalist). He also worked as Research Assistant for a leading constitutional scholar at NUS Law on topics relating to the Nominated Member of Parliament scheme.

Donaven believes in using his legal knowledge for the public good. He was Project Director (AY21/22) and Case Manager & Research Director (AY20/21) of The Recourse Initiative, a student-led project that seeks to assist individuals who believe that they have been wrongfully convicted or that their sentence is manifestly excessive. He was also a Student Volunteer in the NUS Law Student Disciplinary Assistance Scheme, Community Legal Clinics, and the State Courts Student Representative Programme.

Donaven holds a diploma in Biomedical Science.
